This was our second visit. There's absolutely nothing to criticize. The family who runs the place is incredibly welcoming; you immediately feel at home. The food is plentiful, truly delicious, and of the highest quality. The spa area is very spacious and beautifully designed, with various saunas and an exceptionally large outdoor pool where you can actually swim. We'll definitely be back!

We discovered the Alpine Spa Resort Viktoria almost by chance, searching online... and it turned out to be one of the most wonderful discoveries ever. From the first moment, we sensed a unique atmosphere, one of care, warmth, and genuine hospitality.
Every detail is curated with almost artistic precision: the perfectly arranged plants, the harmonious spaces, the always impeccable pool, the meticulously maintained and relaxing saunas. Everything exudes balance and dedication.
The staff is simply extraordinary: smiling, attentive, and genuinely happy to welcome you. It's rare to meet people who work with such passion, and here you truly feel the hand and heart of a family that deeply believes in what they do.
The cuisine is a chapter in itself. Refined, refined, and surprising dishes offer a different discovery every day, from the hearty breakfast to dinner, which is a true journey of flavor. Even the midday snack, which to call a "snack" is an understatement, left us speechless.
And then... the saunas and the Aufguss Master. An overwhelming experience, almost a spectacle. You find yourself immersed in a ritual of heat, music, and aromas that make you forget the outside world.

The breakfast is good and made with quality ingredients, although the selection of desserts could be a bit more varied.
The rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable, and all the staff were extremely kind and always available.

Spectacular. Excellent spa hotel: nestled in the woods, modern and captivating design, spacious and meticulously maintained spaces. BEAUTIFUL. We'll soon be booking the forest suite with an in-room sauna and a whirlpool on the terrace: TOP. Excellent spa: 6,000 square meters with a gym, yoga space, wonderful quiet rooms.... The overall concept of the hotel is not only visually impressive, but is also carried out in particular by the entire Platzer family, who also have a knack for extremely attentive, service-oriented, and friendly hotel staff in all areas (from the reception, the restaurant, the spa and sauna area, to the cleaning staff).
We can wholeheartedly recommend the hotel as a spa and relaxation hotel and a great starting point for hikes.
The Viktoria truly impressed us from the beginning of the booking process to our departure. The user experience is fantastic: personalized offers, reminder emails, etc., a personalized folder, and a welcome drink and snack upon arrival – and then the fun really begins.
A truly beautiful hotel with very high-quality, stylish furnishings – including a fantastic outdoor area. Wonderful food for the afternoon snack and especially in the evening. The spa area leaves nothing to be desired; the sauna area is more than spacious and varied enough.
The entire staff, as well as the owner family, are incredibly friendly, pleasant, and accommodating!
The location above Merano is wonderful, and with the South Tyrol Card, which you automatically receive for the duration of your stay, you can easily take the bus from outside the hotel to the center of Merano and back.
You can also easily extend your stay in the wellness area (and your afternoon snack) until the end of the day on the day of departure at a fair price.
We had a wonderful and very relaxing time at Viktoria and will definitely come back for more stays :)

This is our second visit. The hotel is beautifully situated in the mountains. Ideal for beautiful hikes and walks, as well as mountain biking. Merano 2000 is right on the doorstep and is an incredible hiking and recreation area. The hotel has a wonderful spa and wellness area that is very clean and well-maintained. The indoor and outdoor pools are very nice, and especially in summer, the outside area is a wonderful place to enjoy. Ideal for families. The food is very good, fresh, and varied. The service is truly excellent! Overall, a top-notch destination for young and old.
Uns hat das Zimmer sehr gut gefallen. Der Saunabereich und das Schwimmbad waren top, ebenso die freundliche Rezeption. Das Frühstück war reichhaltig und lecker. Besonders schön fanden wir die Musik am Abend.Ein weiteres Plus: die dicken Liegematten auf den Liegestühlen – sehr bequem!

The Platzer host family embodies genuine warmth. Mrs. Platzer personally welcomes guests to dinner in the evenings and accompanies hikes with palpable passion. Her sons are also actively involved in the hotel – their enthusiasm and dedication to what they do can be seen in every detail.

I was here over the long weekend. I'll definitely be back. Great, quiet location. Superb service from start to finish. Incredibly friendly staff who anticipate your every need. Excellent and varied cocktails! A fantastic spa with a good layout and a wide range of treatments. The breakfast buffet offered the best selection, and dinner was also excellent. It would be ideal if there were at least a few tables in the restaurant where you could bring your dog, or at least on the terrace. However, it wasn't a problem for my dog to wait in the room. Otherwise, very dog-friendly.

I returned with great pleasure to Viktoria, a structure that stands out for its attention to detail, from impeccable cleanliness to welcoming and refined furnishings.
The culinary experience was excellent: it is not easy to find quality buffets, especially at dinner, but here every dish is a real delight.
The staff is always kind and attentive, ready to make guests feel at home. The different types of rooms allow you to satisfy every need, while the large spa area, with an area dedicated to families, makes your stay even more pleasant and relaxing.

It was also perfect for our son! He loved the neighbor's cat, who greeted us every afternoon on the terrace while we were eating, and he also loved the two pools. He also loved the playroom! In the foyer, there are also tables with large wooden games like "Ludo" and others. We also had a wonderful time there in the evening after dinner.
The carnival party on Shrove Tuesday was a fantastic event. Each child received a voucher for a free cocktail at the bar; our son, of course, redeemed it.
We had a family room with a separate bedroom for our son. He, of course, loved the bunk bed. And we were thrilled with the room, too. Very high-quality furnishings and warm earth tones made it extremely cozy.
We've already decided to come back again because we felt truly at home here.

A small gem nestled in the green hills above Avelengo, the ideal place to spend a few relaxing days in an environment meticulously maintained, from the spa to the saunas, from the rooms to the cuisine, all centered on guest well-being. The daily sauna infusions are spectacular, and the evening menu is superb. A sweet and savory buffet is available for both breakfast and afternoon snacks. The resort's reserved parking is outside only (with charging stations). Returning after a couple of years, the cuisine has been further improved, and especially the choreography and quality of Hubert's sauna infusions. Minor distractions at the reception and among the dining room staff do not detract from the overall quality.

The WaldSPA is beautiful! The restaurant is also excellent, with the parlor seating especially lovely. The property lives up to the high expectations with a 5-star rating. Everything was excellent, from the attentive and friendly reception and services to the modern and well-equipped spa, the restaurant with 3/4-quality service and a wide selection, the courteous and knowledgeable staff, and impeccable cleanliness. Our room was new, very spacious, and functional. Valeria, representing the property, was constantly present and attentive.
Small comments: The northeast exposure behind a hill reduces the natural afternoon sunlight on a beautiful garden with natural ponds and an outdoor sauna, and the dinner (which is of a high standard) can be a bit slow. As with other similarly sized properties, the spa could be included throughout the day of departure, rather than just until 1:00 PM. We'll definitely return and recommend it even to the most discerning guests who frequent this type of property.

If you need a truly relaxing break from everyday life, no matter when, this is the place for you. You can relax more beautifully than in almost any thermal spa or similar. There are an incredible number of options, whether in a waterbed, on the core pillows, in the swings, or in the various saunas. Simply perfect. The service is also so friendly and helpful, simply fabulous. Culinary dreams are realized here every day and served with such care. There's really no room for improvement.

We stayed at Resort Viktoria for five days in August 2024. It was a wonderful time: a very quiet location, a great atmosphere in the garden area, the spa, and the pool. The rooms are very nice and spacious, with plenty of closet space. The dinner was of a high standard. Many thanks also to the team – everyone was very friendly.

We stayed at the Hotel Viktoria for four nights. Our first impression of the hotel was fantastic. A grand entrance area, beautiful grounds with a pool, and a truly wonderful spa.
Dogs were allowed, but unfortunately only in the rooms and on a separate lawn overlooking the street. We were once a bit too high up and were immediately asked to leave. It was a shame, because the hotel rooms with direct garden access were much closer to the pool, and dogs were allowed there. Unfortunately, our dog wasn't even allowed on the terrace for afternoon tea.
Our room wasn't as nicely furnished as the rest of the hotel. Unfortunately, we were apparently in the "old" part of the hotel and our balcony overlooked the parking lot and the garbage bins – which was very annoying for €350 per night! Furthermore, the kitchen was located directly below, so it was practically impossible to sleep with the window open, as people were talking and taking out the garbage until late in the evening. The bathroom/to be more precise, the toilet, wasn't very clean and didn't smell pleasant either. The evening service, in contrast to the morning service, was very attentive, friendly, and helpful. The alternative menu leaves something to be desired; without an extra charge, you can only get schnitzel or spaghetti.
It was nice that the owner came by every evening to greet the guests.
Nevertheless, I expect significantly more from a four-star superior hotel.

A little over an hour has passed since my family (my husband and my dog) and I left the Viktoria Resort, and I feel the need to write about my experience, to ensure that everything we experienced during these nine days remains ours forever. The easiest way is to share it, because nothing is truly ours until we share it.
Our dream vacation began the moment we booked, when Concierge Boris began to take care of our vacation, understanding our needs and advising us on the best room options. I immediately felt the "good vibes," and this feeling became a certainty with every day spent at the Viktoria Resort. Once we arrived, our room was exactly as the photo and the map were sent to us, with three beautiful spots for enjoying a beautiful view... from one of these spots, we could already see the path leading to the woods adjacent to the Resort, a convenient destination for our walks with our furry friend and the starting point for various trails.
The room was meticulously clean, and our housekeeper, Liliana, took impeccable care of our room every day. The gym is equipped with new equipment and ample space. The Wald-SPA is one of the hotel's strong points, a carefully designed facility for those who want to relax and reconnect with themselves. In the Beauty Department, you'll find a formidable trio (Anna, Giulia, and Tamara) of trained professionals who can recommend the best treatment. I highly recommend the foot reflexology, sports massage, and facial treatments. They are all very skilled at giving massages. For those seeking a deeper sense of well-being, I recommend the rituals... I especially enjoyed the one with Tibetan singing bowls. Another strong point is the cuisine, which is of a superior level. I have been to various hotels in South Tyrol, even more renowned than the Viktoria Resort, but I have never found such continuity and variety in the menu offered to our guests. This quality allowed us to stay at the hotel every day without having to look elsewhere for new dishes. In fact, we were curious to know what awaited us the next day. Everything was truly excellent. Creative cuisine, but with a firm focus on traditional Italian values: excellent ingredients and perfect execution... which allows you to go from a simple but perfect minestrone with garden vegetables to imaginative spaghetti with Alpine butter, pollen, and chamomile, even pasta al dente. What more could you ask for?!?! Chef Michele Nardelli is truly talented, and his great humility and the respect he has for his entire team are striking... for those with a sweet tooth, the Master Pastry Chef from Brescia is also very respectful; he will not disappoint you!!! The sommelier is missing, but the talented and passionate waiters Michael and Kleidi will make sure you won't miss them. I must say they also have an excellent wine list with more than reasonable markups. I mustn't forget the aquatic area with its two beautiful pools—one indoor and one panoramic outdoor—surrounded by a beautiful garden, two hot tubs, and a truly pristine swimming pond...how magical!!! The Platzer family is responsible for what will remain an indelible memory for me, an unforgettable vacation filled with moments of relaxation, peace, and fun, thanks also to the wonderful excursions organized by the hotel. It's truly pure well-being for body and soul. Valeria is the one keeping the fire burning brightly in this dream...you'll find her omnipresent but never intrusive, a beautiful lady with a noble soul. Hearing the entire staff speak highly of this family, without ever saying a word out of place, is proof that their affability is genuine. We'll return, confident that we'll immerse ourselves once again in what will forever be the atmosphere of the Viktoria Dream. A simple “Thank you ️” would have been enough, but all this magic needed to be shared.

The ambiance is incredibly beautiful, with attention to every last detail. The hotel and the complex are super clean and leave nothing to be desired! The food is also delicious and varied. Everything is freshly prepared using ingredients from the hotel's own garden.
I had mentioned that I was pregnant when booking, hoping I wouldn't have to mention it with every course of the menu (fish cooked thoroughly, etc.), and that worked out perfectly! A huge thank you to the restaurant team at this point; that's not something you can take for granted!
I had a massage on the third day, which I thoroughly enjoyed! The ambiance here was also truly relaxing and inviting!

We had an incredible stay the Viktoria Alpine Resort! The staff was so friendly and accommodating to all of our needs. Veronica, Jana, and Jonas were all wonderful. The spa is very relaxing. There are multiple saunas, steam rooms, a pool, and a hot tub. We also got to enjoy a private hot tub in our room (only certain room types have this but it was well worth it!) The breakfast buffet was fantastic.
A heads up for other Americans- there is an adults only section of the spa where you are not allowed to wear a swimsuit so get comfortable in your birthday suit! There was also some very interesting sauna events in the main sauna that we were not adventurous enough to try out, but wish we did.
Oh, and of course you’re in the Dolomites and it’s absolutely beautiful. The town of Merona is 15 min away which has great food and shops. Merona 2000 resort is very close with a cable car, great hiking, and huts. Other more touristy spots (prasger wildsee, lago di carezza, Seceda) are all over an hour away.

If I really had to offer constructive criticism, I wouldn't charge for water at the table, but it's a standard practice in the region.

Alpine Spa Resort Viktoria has always been synonymous with high quality; the staff is attentive to every need, the hotel services are tailored to each guest, and the spa is wonderful.
The restaurant, led by the amazing chef Michele Nardelli, is impeccable. The menu is extensive and seasonal, and you can sense the sophistication of every ingredient. The balance of all the components in each dish is what leaves you most amazed. Unique, memorable; when I think back, every flavor explodes in my mouth. The wine cellar is on display, with a great selection. The service staff is also impeccable.

An absolutely beautifully tastefully furnished house with a great room scent that follows you everywhere. Cozy and very clean inside and out as well as an inviting spa area with great creative islands of relaxation. Without exception, the staff is super nice, accommodating and exudes a good mood. Our favorites were Donnatello and Birgit from the restaurant, Domenico from the reception and Simon from the bar. We are already looking forward to being guests here again soon!

We were guests at the resort for a Day Spa, a truly wonderful experience in a luxurious and very romantic setting. The property has recently been renovated, and the wellness area is truly well-organized, especially the adults-only area. There are several saunas and a Turkish bath, complete with everything you need for a perfect exfoliation. The real highlight of this resort are the relaxation areas, each unique, but all truly beautiful and classy. The outdoor pool is very pleasant and impressive, especially in the evening. We also enjoyed the afternoon snack, which offers hot and cold dishes and a rich dessert buffet, each one more delicious than the last. We were truly satisfied and will definitely return. The staff was always courteous and helpful, and the entire resort is truly a dream.

A very nice, family-run wellness hotel. The approximately 6,000 sq m wellness area features several saunas (including family-friendly ones with a dress code) and two heated pools. Valeria, the owner, is always present and happy to chat. The food is very good and attractively presented, with 4-6 course dinners. The hotel offers day trips and a free shuttle to the Merano 2000 ski area. The staff is very helpful. Prices at the bar are in line with the hotel's standard (0.4 l Radler €5.40, Aperol Spritz €7.80). The sauna infusions at 4:30 pm and 5:30 pm were lovely, each with a different theme, followed by fresh fruit and sometimes an alcoholic beverage. It is the most beautiful resort we have ever been to. Every room is beautifully, individually, and lovingly designed.
The food is fantastic. If you particularly like a particular dish (whether it's an appetizer, main course, or dessert), you can order a second helping for free.
The sauna area is spacious, so there's something for everyone. The infusions are varied: for example, we had a Western infusion with music, and the sauna master dressed as a cowboy.
One time we had beer, another time we had schnapps after the infusion, and each time we had plenty of sliced fruit after the infusion.
In the evenings, music is sometimes played, and there are dance evenings.
We had full-body and back massages. The prices are fair, and you feel deeply relaxed afterwards.
In conclusion, we can say that it is the most beautiful hotel we have ever been to. The atmosphere is absolutely amazing.
The staff is courteous and friendly.
The value for money is excellent.

The service is impeccable, as are the food and the facilities in the spa area. In addition to the well-equipped gym, there's a varied fitness program that's always tailored to the group (thanks to our trainer, Julia). Mountain bikes are available for rent, and numerous beautiful hiking trails for all abilities start right at the doorstep.

We stayed there in February. The family spa is perfect, and the 3/4 board is very generous, practically like full board. Everything was delicious, with great attention to detail and friendly, professional staff.

We stayed for a week in August at this beautiful hotel.
The hotel is very large and features a modernly renovated section and an original section.
Upon entering, you're greeted by a modern and elegant lobby with a beautiful window overlooking the garden, where the pool and pond are located.
The only flaw is the room, which has been partially renovated. The bathroom, as well as the terrace, are modern. The room itself shows signs of age, with worn wood and old furnishings.
The wellness center is very large and spreads over three levels: the ground floor is for families, the first floor is for adults only with saunas and a Turkish bath, and the second floor is a relaxation room.
The restaurant offers excellent cuisine with refined dishes and excellent presentation, along with a good wine list.
The staff is very knowledgeable, kind, and welcoming.

If I could give more stars for the excellent food, the friendly service, the personable and funny sauna masters Hubert and Kurt, and the overall feel-good atmosphere, I would. The surrounding area is also ideal for hiking. The only drawback: the magazines available in the foyer are borrowed by guests and not returned for other guests to enjoy. Reading online isn't everyone's cup of tea, including mine, and some aren't available online.

Upon our arrival, we were warmly welcomed by the Platzer family and the entire staff.
The culinary offerings, from breakfast to the Michelin-starred evening menu, were outstanding.
The rooms at the Hotel Viktoria are stylish, modern, and very clean.
The spa area, designed with high-quality materials, offered us a variety of relaxation options that made our stay even more restorative.
The outdoor area is impressively well-maintained and invites you to linger.
A special highlight was the hike with Mrs. Platzer – an experience we would recommend to every hotel guest.

We had a wonderful 4-day short break here. The reception was very friendly, and the hotel has a truly beautiful, modern design. The spa area is incredibly large and very tastefully decorated. We felt very comfortable throughout our entire stay, and the staff were always very friendly. The downsides: the breakfast is intercontinental and doesn't offer any major surprises for a hotel of this standard; we've seen more variety in the past. The service is also somewhat less attentive than in the evening. The lunchtime snack is very unspectacular (small sandwiches and a hot main course), and it's better to order something from the menu if you're hungry. In the evening, everything is truly sophisticated, and the food is of a very high standard. Depending on the theme of the evening, there's a large appetizer buffet beforehand, which alone will fill you up, but sometimes there's just a couple of salads. In that case, you might still leave hungry after the 5-course meal, as the portions are very small—but that's a matter of taste. The 5-course menu was always delicious and beautifully presented. The 39-page wine list was also a delightful experience, and we enjoyed several excellent wines from it. The service in the evenings is usually much more attentive and very friendly (unfortunately, the staff were mostly scarce or busy with other things at breakfast).
Our room was unfortunately in the old building and had absolutely nothing to do with the wonderful atmosphere of the rest of the hotel. It was probably the smallest room in the hotel, and the furnishings, especially in the mini-bathroom, were not at all inviting... We also had to carry the stroller up and down a small flight of stairs to the room - it's a real shame that this is still offered, given the price. When booking, make sure it's in the new building!
All in all, a very nice hotel with delicious food, a great, large spa and pool area, and a modern ambiance - but at this level, even small shadows are all the more noticeable...

This hotel can only be awarded 5 stars in all categories. The staff is remarkably friendly, the service is top-notch at all levels, including the manager, who is always happy to engage in a chat. The cuisine, with its evening multi-course menu, occasionally touches on the star level. Simply magnificent in taste, quality, and appearance. A daily evening highlight. The service at dinner, which is definitely of star quality, matches this.
Active people will definitely get their money's worth. In addition to all the outdoor activities, the hotel has a very well-equipped gym, a 25-meter swimming track, and various sports classes. The wellness area is very well thought out, diverse, and uniquely designed, so that nothing stands in the way of relaxation. I highly recommend the adults-only area on the upper floor of the wellness oasis. Every guest should try the themed sauna infusions offered daily. In the main sauna, you'll not only find carefully selected aromas, but you might even find Falko or Michael Jackson revived for the infusion. Appropriate music included. Afterwards, there's a drink and fruit to match.
All in all, we really enjoyed the peace and quiet, the hotel, the mountains, and the proximity to Merano. Certainly not the last time.
The very spacious rooms with a large balcony are very well thought out and tastefully furnished. The two-meter-wide bed has two premium mattresses, which ensured a restful sleep and left us with no thought of morning back pain. The bathroom is the size of a room at a Motel One. It has a large rain shower, two sinks, and ample shelves and drawers for personal belongings.
For your clothes, there are cleverly arranged built-in wardrobes – and, thoughtfully, plenty of wooden hangers are also provided. We felt very comfortable.
Okay, but when you compare it to other 4-star hotels, it's sometimes missing that little something extra. But we'd be happy to come back.
If you seek a spa and hiking retreat with a creative food menu and the know “exceeding hospitality” then this is your place.

-food 9/10 very creative. Presentation 10/10. Most dishes were excellent, some a bit too much (crouton with spleen pâté) and some were a bit under seasoned but overall excellent. Breakfast buffet 11/10
-service restaurant 9/10. Service personnel is very nice & professional. Birgit tops the list! The only hick up is timing. Sometimes it took 20 ++ minutes between the (small) courses. A first world problem unless you need your beauty sleep
Staff/Personnel 10/10 everyone was friendly and professional especially since we felt being a bit high maintenance (we had to cancel spa appointments twice).
Weather 9/10. Make sure you place your order for sun with a couple drops of rain at least 3 days in advance. It sells out quickly!

One of the nicest hotels I have ever stayed in. Very nice modern design, the food was amazing and facilities were very good. There are so many options, if the weather is nice the hotel is very close to loads of the best hiking / cycling routes in the area and if it is raining you have a great spa/gym/pools and relaxing areas to enjoy. You can tell that the family really care about their customers and a lot of thought goes into all the details. They were happy to accommodate any specific requests we had and all of the staff are really nice and cheerful. We will certainly come again!

We spent a week at the Hotel Viktoria for a ski holiday. The hotel is simply beautiful! Our family suite was very spacious and modern. The rooms, spa area, pool, saunas, etc. were spotlessly clean! The restaurant and the food were outstanding! A very high-quality and varied menu every day. It was simply a delight!
The owners and the entire team were extremely friendly and tried to fulfill our every wish. The ski shuttle was a fantastic service and took us directly to the slopes every day. The pool, sauna area, and relaxation rooms are beautiful! The only thing that was a bit annoying was reserving beds in the relaxation rooms – but that's typical German!
We had an all-around relaxing holiday! The Hotel Viktoria Harvey made it possible!
A beautiful wellness hotel in a fantastic location for a dream vacation, both in summer (hiking, mountain biking, etc.) and in winter (skiing/snowboarding in Merano 2000). Great day spa. Many different saunas and relaxation areas. We've been there twice and will definitely be back. However, the afternoon snack bar leaves something to be desired. Although it's open for two hours, they don't restock food. By 3:30 p.m., the buffet is already sold out. The selection is also poor.

I've been coming to this beautiful hotel for several years, and every year I find everything perfect. The outdoor area is fantastic, the staff is very friendly and attentive, and the spa area is large and wonderful with a great many different relaxation areas. The afternoon buffet was also excellent. The building appears very new and ultra-modern. I was particularly impressed by the option to order via the app (even for guests staying for just the day). It's the ultimate way to relax. The cleanliness was also superb!
The only downside is that the sun disappeared from the garden quite early, around 3 pm. This could be due to the location or the time of year. We'll definitely be back!

This hotel leaves nothing to be desired. Excellent service from all (!) staff, the manager herself checks on everything daily. The cleanliness is second to none. As far as I'm concerned, the pool (25m pool) could open as early as 6:30 a.m.; it opens promptly at 7 a.m. every morning. Our room was in the older section and a bit small, but that didn't bother us at all, as we were never in the room anyway.
There's a really great bar with a great bartender.

The spa spaces are spacious and comfortable, we had a great time with everyone and greatly appreciated the themed infusions led by Kurt's professionalism and friendliness. A first-class hotel. (Almost) everything is just right here, and it's just a small thing to get a full 5 stars... Great ambiance, quiet, unique spa area, outstanding cleanliness, first-class service, and friendliness. And the food: we've never eaten at such a consistently high level in a hotel before – absolutely world-class! - All in all, one of the most relaxing holidays we've ever spent. Two minor criticisms: the bottled water (in the room and bar) is overpriced, and in these summers, a fan in the room would be welcome.

Spectacular hotel!! The Hotel Viktoria is a hotel that easily deserves 5 stars for its services and comfort. The food is excellent, the common areas are very elegant, and the WALD SPA is one of the most beautiful I've visited in South Tyrol, in similar or higher hotel categories. The staff is always kind and available to satisfy the customer, and Valeria is always attentive and courteous with her guests. The indoor and outdoor pools are gorgeous, and the water is truly pleasant both in summer and winter, which is very important to me. The infinity pool is also wonderful, with a view of the valley and the wonderful, well-kept garden with plants and flowers, and a charming swimming pond, refreshing in the summer and frozen in the winter. It's truly hard to tear yourself away from such a wonder!

A piece of refined modern architecture and design, lost in the mountains above Merano. The spa, the strong point of the structure, is very large, spread over several floors and levels, divided between a family spa and an adults only area, beautiful, well maintained and full of services. The catering is of the highest quality, interspersing traditional South Tyrolean dishes with international dishes, always well prepared and served. A friendly welcome, requests were considered and fulfilled. The room was modern, clean, and well-maintained. The wellness area was unique, with numerous areas. The gourmet cuisine was the highlight.
Absolute relaxation. Rooms in the newer section are very nice, while those in the older section are average. The spa is new and splendid. The only downside is that the children's menu is limited, and if they want access to the adult menu, it costs €15 per child. It's not a huge amount, but it's a bit ridiculous, the first time it's happened to us. Excellent food, small portions, but you certainly won't leave hungry. Lunch needs a bit of a rethink, as it's been left to just one waiter. Overall, we had a great time. The pool is fantastic!!

The 3/4 board option was better than the all-inclusive option. I will be back. I am extremely satisfied with my stay.

We had a room with a private sauna in the new building. Unfortunately, we only used it twice, as we spent more time in the spa. A bag containing a bathrobe and individually wrapped flip-flops (not terrycloth) for the sauna, as well as a towel, was provided in the room for each of us.
We booked 3/4 board, which was perfectly adequate, as, unlike other hotels, they offered more than just a cake buffet in the afternoon; they also served other dishes. Breakfast was very good, and dinner was delicious and creative.
The spa area was spacious with wonderful themed relaxation areas. Towels were constantly being replaced and replenished—phenomenal! Tea, syrup, and light snacks were also available.
The service, friendliness, and helpfulness were outstanding in every aspect.

5 stars for the spa (modern, rarely crowded), dinner (menu very creative and varied), lobby with bar, and location.
3 stars for breakfast, afternoon snack (virtually no variety, selection also limited). Just barely 3 stars for the rooms in the old building (especially the bathroom: with 4 people sharing, there are no hanging options for bath towels, etc., no splash guard in the shower/bathtub, and a blackout curtain like in a simple hostel).
Overall, definitely a recommendation - we'd be happy to come back!

The facility is not bad, the entrance is fabulous, and our room (Alpine Classic) was comfortable and spacious. It's a shame we only stayed one night.
The wellness area offers numerous saunas, many steam baths, several different relaxation areas, and an indoor and outdoor pool. As for the outdoor pool, I'd like to say that the water was a little too cold for my taste.
We were also a bit disappointed that we couldn't have lunch à la carte, since it was the day before they closed.
Otherwise, everything was perfect.
It was a very enjoyable weekend.

This hotel is a dream. I felt completely at ease from the very beginning. The location is beautifully quiet, right on the edge of the forest. The service from all the hotel staff and family members deserves special praise; it's rarely found these days. The hotel owner lovingly attends to her guests every day. The hotel is very tastefully decorated, and the spa area with its infinity pool and natural lake is superb. What could be better than swimming at sunrise at 8:30 in the morning? The dinner is almost Michelin-star quality, and the breakfast leaves nothing to be desired. Anyone who can find anything to complain about at this hotel is beyond help.
If I had to pick something, it would be the yoga session, which I didn't quite enjoy (traditional yoga instead of modern yoga). But that's certainly a matter of personal taste. And unfortunately, the vacation went by far too quickly; I would have loved to stay longer...

A true oasis for rest and relaxation, of course, only if your budget allows. Everything was top-notch, and we felt very comfortable.
A fantastic family-run wellness hotel. The pool, swimming pond, and spa are top-notch. The modern rooms in the annex are very nice! You can tell the hotel has grown over the decades; many things don't quite fit together. The staff are consistently friendly and welcoming. There's certainly still room for improvement in the restaurant, both at breakfast and dinner.
Excellent, very clean establishment with a very generous and high-quality breakfast, the Wellness and spa area is simply extraordinary and the dinner is fabulous. A wonderful and very rejuvenating stay. We will not hesitate to recommend this hotel which was top.

Great location, especially as a starting point for various hikes. The complex itself is also very beautiful; the outdoor area with pool and sunbathing area offers plenty of space and tranquility. The interior also leaves nothing to be desired, from indoor pools to a fitness area and spa with various treatment options. The room was quite small and oddly narrow; the view of the parking lot wasn't that great; the private sauna, however, was great. Unfortunately, the cleaning staff left something in the room after every cleaning (e.g., some cleaning rags). The food was also very good, but the service was very, very dependent on the waiter that morning or evening. In the morning, you were often not asked whether you wanted something to eat or drink and had to actively ask for more information - that's simply not acceptable. In the evening, it could sometimes take up to half an hour between courses - simply too long, as the evening then becomes a marathon event. So overall, it was good, but certainly not better.

A truly wonderful wellness hotel, perfect for relaxation and rejuvenation. The Platzer family and all the staff are incredibly friendly, attentive, and welcoming. The service is first-class. The food leaves little to be desired, with a multi-course menu offered every evening. However, it's a shame that almost all the meat is cooked sous vide, which is why we deducted a star. This results in a meat with a liverwurst-like texture. We would appreciate some variety in this regard. The rooms and the rest of the hotel are clean and tastefully decorated. The spa treatments are also highly recommended. All in all, a fantastic hotel – we'll definitely be back!

The Resort Viktoria is a very beautiful and quietly located hotel above Merano. The welcome was very friendly and welcoming. We booked a room in the new building and were very satisfied. It looked very nice and everything was very clean. Breakfast and dinner were also excellent. The hotel has an outdoor pool and a small swimming pond. We didn't really use the indoor wellness area; the weather was too nice The hotel is a great starting point for mountain bike tours! We would spend a short break here again anytime.
Addendum: We've stayed at this hotel several times since then, and the wellness area is highly recommended.

This was a wonderful holiday! We stayed for a week and loved it so much we have gone back twice! We loved all of the food options for example the ravioli was gorgeous! The dinner was a six course meal including a smoothie course! The kid option was also amazing as it can easily bed to fit your child’s apatite! We were able to order exactly what we wanted when we wanted it! The wine selection was amazing are the waiters offered their excellent opinion to help us choose!
There are daily activities set that you have a choice to take part in or you can set of hiking on many of the options around the resort! Our favourite hike was to Saint Kathrine church which overlooked a wonderful valley! You could see all the way down to Merano! Merano is a wonderful town in The Valley with a chair lift allowing a wonderful veiw! There are also many amazing shops and cafes in the heart of the village which are great for an afternoon snack!
The pools were the best bit! There are two main pools, the infinity and the indoor pool! Both are amazing and have jets that can be activated! This is great fun for the kids adm for a aquatic back massage! There are also two jacuzzis and a non heated outdoor pool! All of these are wonderful for relaxing. The infinity pool, outdoor pool and one of the jacuzzis are outdoors and the other two inside!

Es gibt tägliche Aktivitäten, an denen Sie teilnehmen können, oder Sie können auf vielen der Möglichkeiten rund um das Resort wandern! Unsere Lieblingswanderung war zur St. Kathrine Kirche mit Blick auf ein wunderschönes Tal! Sie konnten bis nach Meran sehen! Merano ist eine wundervolle Stadt im Tal mit einem Sessellift, der eine wundervolle Aussicht ermöglicht! Es gibt auch viele tolle Geschäfte und Cafés im Herzen des Dorfes, die sich hervorragend für einen Nachmittagssnack eignen!
Die Pools waren das beste Stück! Es gibt zwei Hauptpools, den Infinity- und den Innenpool! Beide sind unglaublich und haben Jets, die aktiviert werden können! Dies ist ein großer Spaß für die Kinder Adm für eine aquatische Rückenmassage! Es gibt auch zwei Whirlpools und einen nicht beheizten Außenpool! All dies ist wunderbar zum Entspannen. Der Infinity-Pool, der Außenpool und einer der Whirlpools befinden sich im Freien und die anderen beiden im Inneren!

Ho scelto il Viktoria perché cercavo un hotel non troppo lontano da Milano e che avesse una SPA ricca. Ho trovato un hotel bellissimo, praticamente nuovo, lobby spettacolare, giardini curatissimi. La SPA divina. Per 7 giorni non sono MAI uscita dall'hotel. L'esperienza culinaria ricca di sapori (forse poca cucina regionale...).
Die Ausstattung des Hotels, insbesondere das Zimmer sowie der Eingangs- und Wellnessbereich, ist sehr geschmackvoll. Das Abendessen war durchweg klasse.

Das Hotel Viktoria ist ein fantastisches Hotel, welches von einer sehr herzlichen Familie geführt wird. Das Personal arbeitet sehr professionell, ist sehr zuvorkommend und höflich. Man fühlt sich wie in einer grossen Familie. Man kennt viele Angestellte mit Namen und wird sehr herzlich aufgenommen.
Der kürzlich erneuerte Wellnessbereich bietet Saunaliebhabern alles, was sie wünschen. Die Aufgüsse sind sehr abwechslungsreich gestaltet. Die Ruheräume sind alle unterschiedlich ausgestattet, sodass für jeden etwas dabei ist.
Das Essen ist absolut spitze und auch für figurbewusste Personen super. Der Fitnessraum ist einladend gestaltet, sodass dieser dann auch von vielen Gästen aktiv genutzt wird.
Es gibt im Hotel Viktoria nichts, was nicht passt. Ein sehr empfehlenswertes Hotel!

Perfect. A three-story wellness area, a heated outdoor infinity pool overlooking the valley, gourmet cuisine, and themed evenings. You can set out on hiking excursions, or Merano is just a 10-minute drive away. A truly relaxing 5-star vacation. The staff is discreet but always available.

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Das gesamte Personal war sehr freundliche und zuvorkommend. Die Atmosphäre im Hotel und im Wellnessbereich ist sehr schön und entspannt. Besonders die Lage am Wald war für uns ideal, da wir unseren Hund mit dabei hatten. Insgesamt ein rundum gelungener Urlaub, der sehr erholsam war.

We were absolutely thrilled by the hotel's furnishings. Modern and lovingly furnished down to the smallest detail.
The staff is extremely friendly. The boss is also super friendly and kept asking if everything was okay.
The wellness area, especially the new WaldSpa, is brand new and offers everything your heart desires. A sauna infusion is offered twice daily in the event sauna. And what can I say... it was really an event. We have never experienced such great infusions. Absolutely recommended.
We have already visited a lot of wellness hotels. But this one is by far the best. The surrounding area is also wonderful and ideal for hiking and skiing.
We miss you already and will be back very soon.

Very well-maintained hotel, from the decor to the cleanliness. Very friendly and accommodating staff. The spa and pool area is very spacious, but it has one flaw: it's also open to non-residents, so overnight guests risk finding limited spaces in the relaxation areas (reserve, even for several hours, leaving bags and personal items on the relaxation beds). I would recommend opening the spa to non-residents only during certain hours, as is already the case in many hotels. This allows those staying, even just for one night (but paying for a more extensive service), to fully enjoy the hotel's splendid spaces. It remains a splendid and welcoming hotel.

Excellent in every way, but the old part needs to be overhauled and modernized. The sauna area should be hidden from the rest of the garden. It's not always polite to walk around with your penises out in the open, whether male or female. This depends on the guest's manners, not the hotel's, which should intervene somehow. Efficient staff, excellent cuisine, everything perfect, I confirm.

A very nice hotel, especially the newly added room area is wonderfully designed. Very quiet and with a great view of the outdoor pool. The hotel is very close to the forest, which contributes to relaxation. The food was also good; everything was prepared in the kitchen (e.g., cake for the afternoon), and you could order more dishes upon request.
Unfortunately, there were a few points of criticism during my visit (little attention was paid to the restaurant upon arrival on the first evening; guests felt a bit lost; there was no communication between the service staff and guests, for example, about waiting for a meal or requests).
The super-fast Wi-Fi deserves praise, despite the location outside of Merano.
The hotel owner is very friendly and takes criticism seriously and openly.

Einfach alles..:-) Lage ist einerseits toll, da in der Natur und in der kühlen Höhe, andererseits natürlich abgelegen. Beides zusammen gibt es ja wohl nicht! Man ist aber sehr schnell in Meran und auch Bozen.
Gastronomie für Gaumen und Auge hervorragend. Sehr grosszügiger und schöner Spa-Bereich mit grossem Aussen-Pool. Freundliches Personal. Hier blieb kein Wunsch unerfüllt. Wir haben es genossen und uns gut erholt.

Das Viktoria befindet sich oberhalb Meran - unterhalb von Falzeben. Mit dem Auto ist das Resort gut zu erreichen (ca. 15 min ab Meran). Das Personal im Hotel ist überaus freundlich und das ganze Haus sehr sauber. Die Buffet‘s bieten eine sehr grosse und feine Auswahl und das Abendessen ist perfekt portioniert. Über 2 Stunden waren wir dann mit Essen beschäftigt, die Gänge kamen sehr gut abgestimmt zu einander und auch hier war das Personal sehr aufmerksam. Der Wellnessbereich ist sehr schön ausgebaut und lädt zum entspannen ein. Insgesamt also ein angenehmer Aufenthalt in einem grosszügigen Haus.

The gourmet dinner, but that's my personal opinion, isn't a great one. However, the dishes were well-presented and delicious. Highly recommended.

Our boss treated us to a weekend at the Hotel Viktoria, and we all had a wonderful time. The rooms are very nice and clean, with plenty of space and storage. The food was excellent, and the staff—whether at reception, in the dining room, at the bar, or in the spa—were extremely friendly! We felt very comfortable!

The hotel offers all the services of a 4-star superior, has excellent, refined and quality cuisine, has a beautiful wellness area and a large outdoor swimming pool, however it has some flaws that in my opinion should be reviewed.
First of all, the hotel has a new wing (of which the hall is also part), and a slightly older part...an incongruous mix between the old and the new which appears very modern. Maybe there are plans for a second renovation of the old part?
As for the wellness area on the first floor, there is no real garden where you can go out after the sauna but you have to go through the relaxation area using a not very quiet door... Also uncomfortable for those who are in the room resting.
Furthermore, in the garden on the pool level there should be a division between the pool area and the (nudist) wellness area so that users leaving the sauna, both external and internal, can use the garden in complete tranquility without being able to disturb people who prefer to stay in the area in swimsuits. I repeat that these are suggestions.
A compliment goes to all the waiters: nice and helpful and also to the owner, a blonde lady always on the front line.

I have no words to tell you how wonderful this place is....from the spa...which is large and fabulous...to the rooms...the service of the family that owns this place...and also all the staff of the structure!!..a TOP service and a TOP location!!!!
I would advise anyone interested to avoid reading reviews from before 2016. The hotel underwent a state-of-the-art expansion in 2017, and the spa area (forest spa) was only completed in November 2017. There is now a very nice lobby, ample relaxation rooms (4), each with a variety of loungers or beds (hanging loungers, waterbeds, infrared loungers, etc.). The event sauna for infusions has 40 seats, LED lighting, a fog machine, music, and a glass facade with a view of the valley. The relaxation rooms and the approximately 20-meter-long outdoor pool also offer beautiful views of the forest and meadows. The access road was relocated to the rear and resurfaced in 2017.
The hotel is located a bit away from the villages, so there is no noise disturbance. The hotel's own Mercedes minibuses take you to the ski area.
The food is excellent, and the staff very friendly.
As a couple, we deliberately chose a room in the "old building" because it was perfectly adequate, and we were only there to sleep anyway. I think the older part of the hotel will also be renovated in the near future, which will unfortunately affect the prices.
According to the staff, the spa will also be expanded in the next few years with three or four more saunas, and the older area (which is only a few years older than the rest) will apparently become a children's spa. The indoor pool with a waterfall and whirlpool is already there.
We were completely satisfied and will definitely come back.

After the renovations in some areas, it's even more recommendable. Many beautiful mountain bike and hiking trails start from the hotel, and you can quickly get to Merano by bus.

A truly wonderful hotel run by the family. Immaculately clean rooms, incredibly good food, and a play area for the kids that leaves nothing to be desired (table tennis, Xbox, PlayStation, billiards, arts and crafts corner, etc.).

Das Hotel bietet eine außergewöhnlich gute Küche und einen klasse Service. Besonders hervorzuheben ist außerdem die Freundlichkeit des gesamten Personals.

Grundsätzlich waren wir von der Qualität der Küche extrem positiv überrascht. Bisher hatten wir in keinem vergleichbaren Hotel dieser 4* Klasse so excellentes Fleisch! Alles super exakt auf den Punkt gebraten oder gegart. Das Essen in Summe war ausgezeichnet, jedoch könnte bei den frischen Früchten morgens nachgebessert werden. Personal war freundlich und zuvorkommend.
Ein tolles Hotel, insbesondere besonders hervorzuheben sind die Freundlichkeit und Hilfsbereitschaft des Personals, das sehr gute Essen und der hervorragende Wellness Bereich.

Die Hauswanderung war sehr schön. Das Essen war abwechslungsreich und sehr zu empfehlen.
Der Wellness Bereich war sehr schön und hat für Entspannung gesorgt und auch der Garten mit Badeteich war spitze. Alles sehr gepflegt und komfortabel. Die Zimmer waren sehr schön und gemütlich.
Sehr nette Familie Platzer, unglaublich herzlich; sehr nette Bedienung Zoltan; traumhafter Naturbadeteich in paradiesischem Garten; sehr gutes Essen und insbesondere die Wahlmöglichkeit war für uns bei der Buchung ausschlaggebend; jeder Wunsch wurde erfüllt und zwar mit Freude und einem Lächeln!!! Total schön! toller Spa Bereich mit genialer Außensauna!; sehr gutes Frühstück und Jause mit frischem Obst und Obstsäften zum selber Pressen.

A fantastic hotel. I've been there three times already. Beautiful hiking trails and a great place for wellness. The food is simply delicious, and the hostess and staff are simply exceptional. I'm already looking forward to my next visit. Unfortunately, I can't describe everything; it would take a 50-page book. You have to experience it for yourself.

Fam. Platzer und auch Herr Walter von der Rezeption waren sehr freundlich. Wir wurden bei der Anreise persönlich begrüßt und bei der Abreise auch wieder persönlich von Fam. Platzer verabschiedet. Das gesamte Personal bemühte sich sehr um das Wohl der Gäste. Der Wellnessbereich ist mit viel Liebe zum Detail gestaltet und bietet Erholung pur. Auch in der Ruheoase auf den Wasserbetten mit einer romantischen Feuerstelle fühlten wir uns rundum zufrieden. Zu erwähnen sind auch die Außensauna sowie die Tee-Ecke. Jederzeit hat der Gast die Möglichkeit eine Tasse Tee zu genießen. Das Abendessen war vorzüglich und auch am Frühstückstisch gab es eine breite Auswahl an verschiedenen frischen Produkten. Die Zimmer sind in einem modernen südtirolerischen Stil eingerichtet und werden ausreichend beheizt. Wireless stand auch zur Verfügung. Wir hatten ein schönes erholsames Wochenende und werden sicherlich wieder einmal das Hotel Viktoria besuchen und es auch unseren Freunden und Bekannten weiterempfehlen.

Persönliche Familiäre Atmosphäre die Einzigartig ist. Sämtliche Mitarbeiter wie auch Gastgeberin sind Weltklasse und herzlich. Bravo und Hut ab vor dieser Leistung auf TOP Niveau.
Service ausgezeichnet, Essen hervorragend, Personal überaus zuvorkommend, Zimmer auch bei einem Regentag gemütlich, kurzum dieses Hotel ist absolut zu empfehlen! Wir werden wieder dort buchen.
