Five days at Residence Montani, and we were absolutely thrilled! We were there with two families and a dog – the hosts were incredibly animal-loving. The apartments? Huge, modern, and superbly equipped. The staff was exceptionally friendly, the food delicious, and there was even an electric car charging station at a fair price. A particularly brilliant feature: we were able to book a bike tour with shuttle service and enjoyed breathtaking mountain views. All in all: highly recommended, we'll definitely be back!

A fantastic hotel that's very family-friendly thanks to its spacious (albeit somewhat dated) holiday apartments.
Amenities include an indoor pool, large children's play areas, and small wellness and fitness areas. Add to that the quiet location and exceptionally good breakfast buffet. We'd love to come back.

We spent three days in this wonderful residence. We were very satisfied; in fact, I must say it exceeded our expectations. The cleanliness was excellent. The very convenient location allowed us to visit the surrounding areas, Merano, Lake Resia, and Laces and Tarres itself. As soon as we arrived, we were greeted very kindly at reception, then we entered the studio apartment assigned to us. What can I say... Stupendous! Thoroughly cleaned in every corner, white towels, a bathroom with a window,
a corner tub with a whirlpool, as well as a huge walk-in shower. A beautiful sofa with a 55-inch wall-mounted TV, a very comfortable mattress, a kitchen equipped with utensils and a dishwasher. A spotless indoor covered pool, a gym and outdoor whirlpool tubs, an excellent breakfast with delicious cakes, apple juice, cappuccino, coffee...all delicious. I recommend this residence; you'll definitely be speechless. We'll see you again very soon!

A fairly large complex of hotel rooms/vacation apartments. Some are very modern, large, and beautiful, but older rooms are also available.
The term "vacation apartment complex" is more accurate than "hotel," as only breakfast can be booked directly. Lunch and dinner are optional and served in the breakfast room. However, this is no substitute for a high-quality restaurant in terms of ambiance and quality of the food. Nevertheless, the breakfast buffet is broad and of high quality and highly recommended.
There is a wide range of leisure activities in the form of an indoor pool area, a small sports room, and opportunities for indoor and outdoor activities for children.
The staff are also very friendly, approachable, and accommodating.

We decided to celebrate our little boy's birthday on September 23rd at this superb location. The rooms are large, airy, clean, the kitchen is equipped with everything you need. The breakfast is very varied and tasty. Playground for children, everything is far from the hustle and bustle of the cities, right in the middle of nature. The only unpleasantness was at the jacuzzi when a large group of Romanians entered the water with food, alcoholic beverages and glass glasses even though it was written everywhere that it was strictly prohibited. Plus, they took over the entire area, were extremely noisy and even ruined our good mood. Otherwise, we will gladly come back. We spent a wonderful weekend. Thank you Residence Montani! I've rarely experienced such a warm, uncomplicated, and well-equipped accommodation. Residence Montani will become our regular stop for our annual family vacation. A fantastic location, friendly people, and a whirlpool with a view. What more could you need?
A very beautiful and well-maintained complex. Very well-organized; travelers without children were accommodated in a separate section. The apartment is newly and modernly furnished, but unfortunately there's no oven in the kitchen and the mattresses are much softer for my taste. There's no TV in the bedroom, despite the existing connections. The furnishings are rather cold, and there are no pictures or information available. It's very annoying that there's no restaurant. Only a kind of bistro, a lounge, and an information room. Food must be ordered by 12:00 noon. Since the complex is on the edge of the village and you have to walk into the village by bike or car, I consider this a no-go.
Great. We were thrilled. A warm and friendly welcome, as well as comprehensive information about the various activities and relaxation options. The apartment was magnificent and spacious. The terrace was inviting, both on the loungers and chairs. There was always plenty of parking. The friendliness was always outstanding, and the information about excursions and medical assistance (pain therapy in Naturno) was also excellent. The breakfast buffet was very extensive and lacked nothing, and the prices were outstanding. Pasta evening is a must.

One week of our summer vacation we spent here at Residence Montani and there are literally no complaints. Our place was one of the newly built apartments, which are up-to-date and absolutely recommendable. Team is super friendly and always comes up with recommendations (in case you need any). Landscape around is impressive with the high mountains directly in front of you. Plenty of time to spend outside.

We did a big mistake - we had ordered an apartment in Recidence MontanA ( one hour further north…) but we thought we had ordered at Montani…. Anyway , we are so glad that the staff at Montani could help us and gave us a last minute deal - and the opportunity to stay in a completely new apartment. Well equipped and big. I love the big porch with private sunbeds and table for breakfasts and dinner. There are also bikes available for guests, and our kids enjoyed the freedom of having the chance to take a bike ride whenever they wanted. A beautiful and peaceful place. The gardens around the apartments are also a lovely sight . Thank you so much for being so generous and helpful Montani ️. We recommend this place for everyone who wants quality and opportunities.

We had a wonderful family stay at the Residenz Montani. Our apartment was brand new, very spacious, practical, and comfortably furnished. The property has a great playground for children, a playroom, a pool, and several whirlpools with magnificent views. A wonderfully relaxing sauna area for parents. The garden is very beautiful and inviting, and we also really enjoyed the drinks and food. The location is also great: Merano is a 30-minute drive away, and the gondola station is right in town. The Etsch cycle path is just a few minutes away. We were absolutely thrilled and can 100% recommend the property!
We came to the Residence Montani on the recommendation of our lovely hosts. We had a beautiful holiday apartment in the newly built houses. Very modern furnishings, a spacious, very bright apartment with a large balcony. The entire complex (including the older buildings with the apartments) is very well maintained, and a lot is constantly being renovated and modernized. The large garden, the wellness, and the sports facilities are also worth mentioning. A bistro for breakfast, coffee/cake, and light meals for dinner leaves nothing to be desired. Families with children in particular can have a wonderful time here. There's something for everyone. Once a week, there's a pasta evening, all homemade by Karo and her team. This also offers the opportunity to chat with other guests – a great idea.
Special mention should also be made of the hosts, Karo and Mattia, who run the entire establishment in a familial and professional manner. They are always willing to listen and offer advice and assistance. The friendliness of the staff is not fake – they are genuinely friendly and kind to their guests.

The well-stocked spa area, with the possibility of using the services until 8.00 pm, both internal and external. The welcome was excellent by the owners and they make you feel at home with a wide range of services, both for couples and families.
I recommend the residence for all periods of the year, in summer you can have barbecues and the garden is equipped with games for all ages.
The location is also good, where you can breathe fresh air and tranquility and silence are never lacking.

We spent a wonderful week at Residence Montani. The hosts were very welcoming and family-friendly. The pasta evening was also great, very tasty! The apartment was large and well-furnished, with a view of the beautiful garden! The pool and sauna were excellent for relaxing in the evenings.
A beautiful family guesthouse in the town of Latsch in South Tyrol, Alto Adige Valley. Everything is clean and modern, perfect for a dream vacation here. Great place for bicycles. Large and clean swimming pool. Jacuzzi and lots of saunas make the location even more attractive. And last but not least, the fabulous breakfast prepared by the host. My bed was a disaster!!! It was a pull-out sofa bed, crooked, dented, and creaked with every movement. I couldn't sleep half the night, but I desperately needed to rest. In my opinion, it's outrageous for the price.

We rented an apartment for seven of us and had a wonderful time. It has everything you need: an induction stove, microwave, dishwasher, dishes, TV, a large terrace with a drying rack, table, and chairs. It's spotlessly clean.

Very nice location, walking distance from village with all you need. Also a train station with a very scenic route. Great bikini area. Place itself is great for families with (younger) kids, lot's of things for them to do at the site and in the surrounding area. Swimming Pool very nice and clean, appartment has all you need. Restaurant at site very convenient for lazy mornings and evenings, with very helpful and positive hosts. Would highly recommend!

All in all, a beautiful complex. Children can run freely and entertain themselves. The location is somewhat remote from Latsch, which also guarantees relaxation. The breakfast is excellent, and the overall impression is very well-maintained. The indoor pool can be used even in bad weather. However, the water is almost too cold for small children. Being indoors, you don't have to constantly watch the children. This worked to our advantage. The ground floor apartment is perfectly large, the bathroom has been recently renovated, and the beds are comfortable. Some areas could perhaps be improved, but in this case, only the kitchenette. An oven would be nice, but that's not a drawback, as it simply isn't there. The terraces are spacious. The family-run atmosphere is palpable. The warmth is truly wonderful. A big compliment again to Daniela and her team; the breakfast is simply wonderful. The wellness area is fantastic and enhances the complex. In the evening, you can treat yourself to a drink or two from the limited menu. Other reviews say the price is too high. Of course, that's debatable. On the one hand, it's self-catering, but on the other, the accommodation offers significantly more than any other. For us as family travelers, the price is okay. The only thing that always bothers us is the price for breakfast. Unfortunately, it's become standard practice these days to pay similar prices for breakfast as for dinner, for whatever reason. Therefore, it wouldn't be fair to let that negatively influence the review. There are also free bikes to borrow, and there's plenty of parking.
We definitely recommend it. Whether you're looking for a relaxing or active holiday, both are possible.

A very beautiful, family-run apartment hotel nestled amidst apple orchards. Good prices for accommodation and drinks, as well as delicious food, are just some of the reasons for this excellent rating. The rooms and the entire residence are exceptionally well-equipped. There is a large garden with a children's playground, barbecue area, football and volleyball courts, a small swimming pool, several saunas, and a fitness room.

The vacation was wonderful. Restful, enjoyable, and relaxing. We traveled with a child (8 years old) and a small dog. Everyone had a great time, and everyone got their money's worth. The Montani offers something for everyone. The family-run business is run with love and attention. You immediately feel at home. It was simply wonderful: the long walks, the whirlpool, the lawn in front of the house where you could sunbathe. The playground and the indoor playroom were fantastic. The peace and quiet... the sun, which illuminated the mountain peaks in the morning. And the apartments left nothing to be desired; everything was there and they were very clean. The dog was not only accepted but welcomed, which is always an important criterion for us. The food was wonderful. The breakfast buffet was very balanced and plentiful. The pasta evening was a dream. Karoline's Bolognese, as well as her apple strudel and Daniela's couscous, are a must-try. So there was really nothing to complain about and all we have to say is: We hope to be able to visit you again soon.

The homemade breakfast is highly recommended – you should definitely try the selection of regional specialties, presented with such care. And even any extra requests (fried eggs, scrambled eggs, bacon, etc.) are no problem and are included in the all-inclusive price.
The indoor pool provides a wonderful respite for everyone, and is particularly relaxing during the colder months. We would love to come back and are already looking forward to wonderful days in South Tyrol and the Residence.

A very spacious complex with plenty to offer children. A large playground, indoor pool, and holiday apartments make it ideal for families. A selection of saunas and a lovely barrel sauna with mountain views invite you to relax. The on-demand towel exchange for both pool/sauna towels and room towels was a definite plus. The rooms are a bit dated and could use a renovation. Many dogs were present during our stay and frequently egged each other on, with no owners intervening. The times for the various reservations and services were sometimes confusing and could be standardized (pool towel exchange, bread service, room towel exchange, bar service, etc.). Overall, however, we enjoyed our stay.
Everything great! Warm, friendly family business, great, well-kept facility, spacious holiday apartments with a beautiful view. The breakfast is made with high-quality regional products and is very varied. Here you can unwind and unwind.
We spent a very relaxing week at the Residence Montani. The accommodation is very well-maintained, clean, and equipped with many extras that you can use outside of your own apartment. There's an indoor pool with bubble features, an outdoor whirlpool in the newly landscaped rock garden, a wooden barrel sauna, and a new indoor sauna area. Truly fantastic! A huge garden where you can enjoy the barbecue area, children's playground, covered games room with foosball, etc. in bad weather, as well as sun loungers.
There are mountain bikes available for free use. So much for the amenities.
We didn't try the breakfast, but just by the look of it, it was also excellent. There was a full fridge with cold drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) that was ALWAYS accessible if there was no one at the bar. You simply sign up on a list with your room number.
The entire host family is friendly and helpful, gives really great tips for excursions, and their warmth creates a very positive atmosphere where you feel very comfortable, welcome, and almost at home.
This was our first time traveling as a family of three with our 4-month-old daughter. We chose this accommodation because it was rated as very child-friendly. This is definitely true; the host family did everything they could to ensure we had a great time with our little one.
In summary, I can only thank you for such a wonderful, uncomplicated vacation! We will be back and will wholeheartedly recommend the accommodation.

(Speck, all kinds of cheeses, a charcuterie board, etc.) Various cereals, blueberries, strawberries, apples cut into very small segments, with cinnamon! And many other delicious things like mountain yogurt, apple juice, strawberry juice, etc.
A convenient service that I really appreciated was the availability of a very varied and functional bike fleet (for men, women, and children) (KTM).
The price is in line with the quality of the services offered.

The residence speaks for itself: surrounded by greenery yet convenient to the slopes/hikes, it exudes a sense of peace. The apartment we stayed in was beautiful, accommodating eight people, spacious and equipped with every comfort, and a splendid terrace where you can have breakfast/lunch with a spectacular view of the mountains. There's a children's playground and a volleyball court. The 5-star breakfast is an extra cost, but it's well worth it: a wide variety of sweet and savory options, quality products typical of Trentino and beyond, eggs cooked to order upon request, and an indoor play area in the living room—my son spent most of his time there. The indoor pool, sauna, and gym are free for guests to use—a real treat!

Rooms are very good, however, we booked a two-bedroom apartment and got a one-bedroom apartment with a living-dining-kitchen area and a pull-out couch.
Actually, it's a very nice hotel, with friendly service and a beautiful view, and it's lovingly decorated! The only thing that bothered me was that the limescale content was a bit higher than normal, and it tends to turn very blonde hair a bit green.

We stayed in June 2021 with four adults, a dog, and a baby and stayed in an apartment with access to the garden.
The hosts were very friendly and accommodating, had lots of tips for excursions, and were happy to answer every question. We felt warm and welcomed.
The apartment was nice and clean. It's not very modern, and you sometimes have to get creative in the kitchen to find all the utensils for the next meal. We missed a toaster, for example. The additional amenities (baby cot and high chair) were already ready upon arrival.
We booked breakfast on two days and were satisfied. The selection was fresh and good.
The free bicycles were a great service, and the surrounding area was wonderful to explore. We also enjoyed the free wellness and fitness area.

L'educazione da parte dell'ospite nei confronti delle persone che sono presenti nella struttura deve essere al primo posto , ma questo non dipende dal gestore.
Voglio ringraziarla per la sua fantastica cena con la sua pasta Mediterranea e volevo ringraziarla in particolare per il menù fatto appositamente per me dato che non adoro e non sopporto le cipolle.
Abbiamo passato dei giorni stupendi nella struttura siamo stati coccolati da tutti e tre i gestori si sono resi subito disponibili per un imprevisto a causa del lavoro di mia moglie Facendoci usare il loro computer per risolvere un problema lavorativo.

La struttura è organizzata molto bene. Servizi vari (parco giochi, piscina, saletta giochi, bici gratuite, barbecue, idromassaggio) utilizzati da tutta la famiglia (sottolineo che abbiamo una figlia di 5 anni e un'altra di 16 anni con esigenze totalmente diverse!). Personale gentile e sempre a disposizione. Posizione della struttura strategica per passeggiate, accesso ai negozi, bar e pizzerie. Negli appartamenti abbiamo trovato tutto quello che ci serviva per sentirci a casa. Pulizia ottima. E in epoca Covid organizzati molto bene per sicurezza e distanziamento.

Perfect for my family! Here we were able to enjoy the freedom of a vacation apartment and the comfort of a wonderful breakfast! Our apartment was attractive and clean, the pool and sauna facilities were well-maintained, and the hosts were super friendly! There are several snow-sure ski areas nearby and some great castle ruins to hike to. I highly recommend Residence Montani!

Sehr zuvorkommendes Personal, sehr hilfsbereit, sehr tolle Ausstattung, der Whirlpool ist einfach toll und ich hätte nie mit so einer schönen Saunaanlage und Pool gerechnet. Auch das Frühstück kann mit jedem 5* Hotel mithalten.

Stupenda struttura in zona tranquilla tra le montagne, molto rilassante. Il complesso è fantastico, piscina coperta con idro, sauna bagno turco e sauna finlandese. Facile da raggiungere grazie anche alla superstrada che arriva fino a Forst. Ci siamo innamorati del posto ed è da parecchi anni che lo frequentiamo. È molto versatile, essendo appartamenti arredati addirittura con lavastoviglie e forno a microonde.
I gestori sono fantastici e molto disponibili.

Nice residence, friendly and very helpful staff. Located slightly outside the village of Laces, with a beautiful mountain view. Nice indoor pool and wellness area with Finnish sauna, bio sauna, and Turkish bath. Small gym with a few cardio machines, dumbbells, and lat pull-ups. Nice rooms, decent finishes, reasonably clean. The only complaint is the living area: renting an apartment for 8 people with a table big enough for 4-5 people to dine at isn't ideal...
The price is a bit high considering the overall quality of the finishes.

Sehr gutes Frühstück. Tolle Aussicht vom Zimmer und vom Pool. Zimmer waren sehr sauber. Dass die Algundkarte im Preis dabei war. Man kann im Hotel auch sehr gut Abendessen. Rundum war alles perfekt.
Das Haus liegt traumhaft inmitten einer schönen Apfelplantage umgeben von Bergen. Hier kann man wirklich zur Ruhe kommen und die Seele baumeln lassen. Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Anlage ist sehr sauber und gepflegt.
Schöne und ruhige Ferienhaus-Anlage inmitten von Obstbaum-Plantagen, dennoch ist man schnell im Ortskern. Sehr zuvorkommende und hilfsbereite Gastgeber.

We stayed at Residence Montani for two days. The town is easily accessible by train from Bolzano. The apartment, well-furnished and functional, was clean and comfortable. The property features a wellness area and a children's playground. The owners were courteous and welcoming.

Ausstattung von Wohnung und gesamtem Haus haben genau unseren Bedürfnissen entsprochen! Und uns sehr gefallen. Das Spielezimmer, der Spielplatz und der Pool wurden von unseren Kindern geliebt.
Die Ausstattung mit Pool, Sauna und dem Aufenthaltsbereich ist super und top ausgestattet. Der Bikewaschplatz war für uns nach einer etwas schlammigen Tour perfekt.

Eine familienfreundliche Apartment-Anlage, mit viel Spielmöglichkeiten für Kleinkinder. Sauberes Hallenbad und sauberer, angenehmer Wellnessbereich, je mit Handtuchservice. Wir hatten 3 Apartments belegt, mit 8 Erwachsenen und 3 Kleinkindern. Für Familien ideal.
Sehr freundliche Besitzerfamilie, schöner Spielplatz, tolles Hallenbad mit angenehmer Wassertemperatur und schöner Saunabereich. Auch der Aussenwhirlpool war super! Sehr angenehm fanden wir, dass man jederzeit frische Badetücher holen konnte, denn wir waren praktisch jeden Tag schwimmen :-). Praktisch war auch, dass man jederzeit in der Hausbar Getränke holen und aufschreiben konnte. Die Betten waren sehr bequem, oftmals haben wir in den Ferien Rückenschmerzen von den Matratzen, das war hier nie der Fall... :-). Die Lage ist ideal für Fahrradtouren mit den Kindern auf dem Etschradweg und auch war ich ab und zu joggen - schöner Weg durch all die Apfelplantagen. Wir gingen jeden Morgen frisches Brot holen (mit dem Bike ist man in ca. 2 Minuten beim nächsten Laden). Der grosszügige Balkon mit der Lounge und den Liegestühlen ist wunderschön, es war nicht allzu oft sehr warm, sonst hätten wir ihn viel öfter genutzt. Alles in allem ein wunderschöner Urlaub, wir kehrten mit vielen tollen Erinnerungen heim :-). DANKE Familie Fuchs...

Wir waren mit dem Hund da, dafür war die Lage in Mitten der Baum Plantagen super. Die Anlage ist mit Liebe gestaltet und es hat viele Möglichkeiten. In der Küche ist alles Notwendige vorhanden.

A pleasant hotel with comfortable apartments, each with a kitchenette equipped with a dishwasher, towels, and bed linen. Terraces and balconies are available next to the apartments.
A clean swimming pool. The spa area features saunas and a comfortable quiet zone, with towels provided. The jacuzzi is located outside the building, which is a nice touch, offering beautiful views of the mountains and the city at night. Bathrobes are available for €6 each. You can bring your own.
The owners are very kind. I recommend it.

The Residence was truly a pleasant surprise. Impeccably managed by Mrs. Karoline and her children, it's exactly as it appears on the Facebook page and website.
The large Superior A apartment was perfect for a family, with two bathrooms and access to the garden. The pool was spectacular, where we relaxed and had fun with our children. The breakfast served in a beautiful wing of the building was truly delicious. What more can I say? The view is heavenly, and we're already thinking about returning. A 9 out of 10.

Welcoming, but poorly equipped. The apartment had the bare minimum. You had to bring almost everything. Furthermore, the accessories mentioned in the description were missing.
Very quiet and peaceful. Spacious rooms and new furnishings. The walk from the rooms to the pool or sauna is uncomfortable; you always get cold! Please take more care in cleaning the pools.

A great place to relax in Tyrol. A beautiful hotel surrounded by the region's characteristic fruit orchards. Guests have access to a swimming pool, sauna, gym, and bar. Friendly and helpful staff are always available to assist with any requests. Peace and quiet awaits. The location is also a good base for excursions (both mountain and city trips to Merano and Bolzano). I highly recommend it.

I felt good. I find the place welcoming, quite clean (cleaning costs are 50 euros per stay) and I must say the cleaning is not as meticulous as the cost, overall it is clean but looking closely, it deserves more attention. The apartment is very welcoming, well stocked except for basic necessities. I say this because those who go Get equipped first, there is no bubble bath to take a shower, there is no sponge to wash a single glass, on the other hand you will find the dishwasher equipped with tablets. you only find one roll of toilet paper so it's better to bring it or go and buy it... for the rest it's well organised, there's a swimming pool, a sauna, they provide towels for going to the pool and also a bathrobe for a small fee. There is a garden with a children's park where there are many games. it is quite central, taking a walk you can easily reach the center.. In the apartment there is a WiFi service that works well. The owner is very welcoming and kind.. for me the review is positive, there are some things to improve but from 1 to 10 I give an opinion of 8.5

Just like in May of this year, after a very successful stay the previous time, we spent four days in this wonderfully run, family-run hotel. You can really see how much passion the friendly family puts into running their hotel. We were warmly welcomed by the owner's youngest son, who immediately invited us for a cup of coffee because our apartment wasn't ready yet. Karolin, the boss of the house, also provided us with delicious pastries and we had a great time. We immediately felt at home and the wait flew by. We were also given a delicious homemade raspberry jam as a gift :) The apartments are incredibly spacious and the balconies with lounge furniture are a dream. Overall, our stay was wonderful and if there were 6 stars, I would give them :). A hotel's personalities make all the difference.

This residence is very well equipped for families with children. I highly recommend booking the apartments that overlook the playground. You'll watch your children run and play on the lawn while you relax on a comfortable lounge chair or deckchair. There's a lovely indoor pool where you can unwind after a long walk, and for older children, there's a wonderful wellness area with two saunas, a Turkish bath, and a relaxation room. There's also a small outdoor hot tub and a gym for exercise enthusiasts. It's got everything you need for both young and old!

Geräumiges, ruhiges Zimmer, schöne Lage Schöner Pool und Sauna
Es hat uns sehr gefallen. Die Wohnung war ideal für eine 5-köpfige Familie und die Lage war perfekt. Der Garten mit Whirlpool hat uns besonders gefallen. Auch wurden wir sehr herzlich von Karoline empfangen. Wir kommen jederzeit gerne wieder!
Der lockere Umgang und die Freundliche Atmosfähre
Ruhige Lage inmitten von Obstbäumen. Morgenessen im Freien. Schönes Bad und schöne Wellnessanlage. Gratis Velo, wir konnten unser Auto die ganze Woche stehen lassen. Hübsche kleine Wohnung.

Die freundliche und zugewandte Aufnahme und Betreuung hat mir besonders gut gefallen. Die Lage ist geschickt und das Zusatzangebot (Sauna, Pool, Fahrräder usw.) bemerkenswert.
The apartment is very nice with a balcony. However, some kitchen accessories are missing. The swimming pool is wonderful!
